Puyallup School District
Excellence in Education in Partnership with our Community
The purpose of the School Board is to set policy for the operation of the Puyallup School District and includes three general duties:

1. Formulate and interpret educational policies and approve the budget.
2. Delegate administrative duties.
3. Appraise progress of the district and evaluate the superintendent.

The members of the Puyallup School Board invite you to join them in providing educational opportunities for the children in the Puyallup School District, and welcomes the public to its meetings. The board meets twice each month generally on the second Monday and the fourth Monday of the month. Most meetings start at 6 pm and are held at Ballou Junior High School. If an individual wishes to address the school board at a board meeting, a comment card should be submitted before the start of the meeting. These cards are located at the door. Your name will be called by the Board President during the public comment portion of the agenda. Public comments are usually about three minutes in length.

For details regarding specific meetings please click on the Meetings tab above.
