Successfully Prepare All Students For Their Future
The mission of the Kent School District is to successfully prepare all students for their future.
Welcome to BoardDocs for the Kent School District (KSD).
In support of better communication with the greater community, BoardDocs serves as a web tool which allows Internet access to KSD policies, meeting notices, and meeting agendas and supporting documents.
The Kent School District Board of Directors meets regularly at 7:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at the Administration Center located at 12033 SE 256th Street, Kent, WA 98030.
All meetings are open to the public with the exception of executive sessions authorized by law. All meetings are videotaped for reference purposes.
Individuals with disabilities who may need a modification to participate in a meeting should contact the superintendent's office at 253-373-7701 no later than three days before a regular meeting.
The purpose of board meetings is for the board to conduct its business in public; however, the board recognizes the value of public comment on educational issues and the importance of involving members of the public in its meetings. In order to permit fair and orderly dialogue, the board provides a period during the meeting when the public may provide input on agenda items or comment on non-agenda items. In addition to attending a board meeting, you can voice your opinion by:
• Calling the superintendent's office, 253-373-7701, or members of the school board.
• Writing the board or superintendent at 12033 SE 256th Street, A200, Kent WA 98030.
