At their October 22, 2009, regular meeting, the School Board took the following actions:

Student Achievement Goal 1.3. Explore, Understand, and Value the Fine and Practical Arts

Mr. Center moved, and Mrs. Strauss seconded, to accept the monitoring report on the current progress toward attaining Student Achievement Goal 1.3. Explore, Understand, and Value the Fine and Practical Arts. The motion passed unanimously with the Providence district seat vacant.

2010 School Board Legislative Program

Mr. Gibson moved, and Mrs. Kory seconded, to adopt the 2010 Fairfax County School Board legislative Program, as reviewed and discussed at the Legislation work session. The motion passed unanimously with the Providence district seat vacant.
