National Career Development Month - November 2009

Career center specialists, school counselors, and educators are employed to help students reach their full potential and successfully transition from school to further education or work and they are actively committed to helping students explore their abilities, strengths, interests, and talents as these traits relate to career awareness and development and life long planning.

All educators collaborate with parents on ways to enhance academic and career planning for their children and career center specialists and school counselors work with teachers and other educators to help students investigate skills needed for the future workplace and set goals for life long learning.
