Policy Detail
I. PURPOSE

To provide requirements and assign responsibilities for the acquisition, development, and support
of Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) software applications. Departments and schools shall
first coordinate with the Instructional Services Department (IS) and the Department of Special
Services (SS), if applicable, the planned acquisition or use of any instructional applications in
accordance with the current version of Regulation 3007.
