I. PURPOSE

Workers’ compensation is part of the Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) Integrated Disability Management program. However, because workers’ compensation is governed by the Virginia Workers’ Compensation Act, the purpose of this regulation is to explain procedures for reporting work-incurred injuries, determining eligibility for workers' compensation, and processing claims.
