TITLE: Mansfield Timberview High School Band Trip

INFORMATION



BACKGROUND:

The Mansfield Timberview High School band is in its inaugural year as a performing group. The band is planning a trip to Corpus Christi, TX/Fiesta Texas. The trip will include the opportunity for the band to participate in the South Coast Music Festival in Corpus Christi. The trip is scheduled for April 14-17, 2005, and will not involve school days. All funding will be through fundraising and/or personal payments.

CONSIDERATIONS:

The proposed trip has been reviewed and approved by the Principal & Director of Fine Arts.

The trip has been approved by the Superintendent and all other appropriate administrators.

Board policy authorizes the Superintendent to approve such student trips. No Board action is required.
