Welcome to Meade County, South Dakota
The mission of Meade County is to provide our citizens with open governance, supported by innovative, cost effective services and methods of operation; to perform our statutory duties; to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America and the Constitution of the state of South Dakota; and to be seen to do all this with integrity, common sense, and sound judgment.
Commission meetings are held the second and fourth Wednesday of each month.

Meetings begin at 8:30 AM

Meade County is now utilizing BoardDocs, a web-based system that provides a means for immediately publishing and revising Board meeting agenda items, supporting documents, policies and procedures. This innovative system allows the administration to quickly and easily create, approve and track agenda items and other correspondence. BoardDocs will allow the county to improve its technology capabilities in a number of areas while providing greater access to the community prior to monthly Board meetings.
