Our Mission
The Easton Area School District respects the diversity of its student population and is dedicated to the importance of developing our students into responsible citizens. We will provide each student with an academically challenging program that enhances creativity, develops an ability to use technology, and encourages critical thinking and problem solving. In support of this mission, we will ensure a safe instructional environment and promote life-long learning.
Easton Area School District Regular And Committee Meetings
In accordance with provisions of the Act of July 19, 1974, P. L. 175, notice is hereby given that effective February 1, 2012, the Board of Directors of the Easton Area School District will hold meetings in the Board Room of the Education Center, 1801 Bushkill Drive, Easton Pennsylvania (unless otherwise noted) on the dates and times listed below:
*The November standing committee meetings will be held prior to the regular meeting on 11/13/12
at 6:00 p.m. If the November standing committee meetings are deemed unnecessary, a notice of cancellation will be posted accordingly.
Standing Board Committees consist of Academics, Policy, Athletics, Buildings and Grounds, and Finance. Based on need, the Board President will select which Standing Committee meetings will convene each month and develop the agendas with the Superintendent. Standing Committee meeting agendas will be available to the public prior to the scheduled meeting date via the District Web site at www.eastonsd.org.
Any special meetings or rescheduled meetings will be advertised in accordance with the provisions of the above-referenced Act. Notice of all meetings will be posted on the bulletin board located on the ground floor of the Education Center and on the District Web site.
