School Board Meetings are held at the Elko County School District Administrative Office Conference Room, 850 Elm Street, Elko, NV at 5:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
President of the Board reserves the right to change the order of the agenda and if the agenda is not complete, to recess the meeting and continue on another specified date and time. The Board may combine two or more agenda items for consideration; and the Board may remove an item from the agenda or delay discussion relating to an item on the agenda at any time.
In the event that public comment is allowed during any agenda item, the President reserves the right to limit such comment and terminate any further comments. The President reserves the right to place any restrictions on comments by the general public. Any such restrictions must be reasonable and may restrict the time, place and manner of the comments, but may not restrict comments based upon viewpoint.
Public attendance by interactive video of any Board meeting held in Elko will be made available on request at the following remote sites from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (PST): Carlin Combined School Library (elementary side), 552 8th Street, Carlin, NV 89822; Spring Creek High School, Room M36, 14550 Lamoille Highway, Spring Creek, NV 89815; Jackpot High School Library, 2301 Progressive Road, Jackpot, NV 89825; Owyhee Combined School,Room 120, 1000 Academic Way, Owyhee, NV 89832; Wells High School, Room 1, 1129 Lake Avenue, Wells, NV 89835; and West Wendover Elementary School, Trailer 7-1, 2000 Elko Avenue, Wendover, NV 89883.
Any member of the public may make a request for interactive video at one of the remote sites for a particular Board meeting by calling 738-5196 no later than the Thursday before the meeting by 4:00 p.m. (Elko time) so appropriate arrangements can be made for the broadcast.
