Recommendation:  The Superintendent recommends approval of an amendment to the FY10 General Fund budget to reflect the expenditure of ARRA – SFSF funds, per GADOE Directive.
 
Background:  In accordance with Board Policy DCI, Budget Series Transfer Authority:
 
Any transferal of funds between any budget function equal to or greater than ten percent must receive the approval of the Board of Education. The superintendent shall make requests for such transfers at a regular meeting of the Board of Education. Transfer of funds between any budget function less than ten percent shall be submitted as an information item to the Board at its next regularly scheduled meeting.
