The district is the proud home of Woodbridge Elementary School which has been named a National Blue Ribbon School for Excellence and a National Distinguished Title I school. Phillis Wheatley Middle School has been recognized as the first middle school in the state to be awarded the DIAA Sportsmanship award. They have won this award for three consecutive years.
