Student fund raising activities shall be limited to established and recognized school organizations which can validate a requirement for funds beyond those provided by the organization's normal funding sources.
To undertake a fund-raising activity, the student organization must present a proposal to the school principal or designee which includes the following:
A description of the objectives of the fund-raising event
A budget which identifies expected revenue and expenses
The goods or services to be offered
The method of solicitation
An estimate of the amount of student time and staff time required
All proposals shall follow the student fund-raising vendor selection process outlined in the regulation that accompanies this policy.
The school principal or designee will evaluate the proposal and approve or disapprove the request.
