Jefferson County Public Schools shall participate in the School Breakfast, School Lunch, and Commodity Distribution Programs and accepts responsibility for providing free and reduced price meals to eligible children in the schools under its jurisdiction.

The administration shall establish regulations to comply with the guidelines established by the Child Nutrition Unit of the Colorado Department of Education for determining eligibility for free and reduced price meals in all participating schools.
