Placer County Office of Education
We believe that quality education is a vital priority for the students and citizens of Placer County. The Placer County Office of Education, along with sixteen individual school districts and one community college district, work to strive that every child be equipped with a first-class education to succeed in a global economy, to appreciate the cultural, social and historical resources of their community, and to be active participants in civic responsibilities.

In order to serve the students of Placer County, the Placer County Office of Education, in conjunction with local school districts, provides an array of programs and services to meet student needs. We accomplish this task by:

- Providing high quality specialized programs for students
- Recruiting, retaining, and developing highly qualified staff
- Monitoring fiscal accountability and expenditures of our tax
