Adelanto School District Goals for 2009-2012
In building an inclusive community the Adelanto School District including Board Members, Administrators, Teachers, and Staff will demonstrate high levels of respect, professionalism, ethics, and be courteous to all stakeholders at all times.
1. The District will practice fiscal responsibility in order to remain financially solvent while maintaining no less than the legally required reserve.
2. The District will build systems to promote communications with all of its stakeholders to ensure transparency and trust.
3. The District will focus on all students working to grade level proficiency as measured by state and federal accountability systems.
4. The District will provide opportunities for all students to explore their interests and talents in curricular areas beyond Reading, Writing, and Math.
5. The District will provide avenues in order to have all parents have opportunities to support their childrenâs education.
6. The District will develop, adopt, and implement standardized expectations for student behavior with an aligned Discipline Plan that includes recognition and consequences.
7. The District will provide opportunities for all students to learn through the use of technology.
