Brian Sandenaw, Director of Operations
Brian Sandenaw has more than 12 years experience as a Certified Help Desk Manager and Principal Certified Domino Administrator. His expertise includes Lotus Notes/Domino administration, senior-level technical customer support and enterprise technical support management.
Mr. Sandenaw's background with Lotus Notes/Domino began with Notes 4.x when he joined the Lotus Software Solutions group at IBM in Austin, TX as a technical customer support professional. He also worked in Lotus's Enterprise Technical Support organization as the team lead for the server crash and server performance teams, as well as the site lead for the UNIX support team. Eventually transitioning to a Premium Support Manager role, Mr. Sandenaw had key responsibilities in the upgrade and ongoing management of the IBM internal deployment of Lotus Notes and Domino, an application infrastructure boasting more than 4000 custom applications and providing e-mail to over 270,000 users in over 50 countries.
After IBM, Mr. Sandenaw further developed his technical support management skills by building a technical support environment for Versalogic, a small but important player in the embedded computer market with an extreme focus on reliability and customer support. Also, at Symantec he lead a team of enterprise analysts responsible for providing support for the company's enterprise security products.
Before joining Emerald Data Solutions™, Inc., Mr. Sandenaw was Lead Administrator at Catapult Technology in Las Vegas, NV, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) firm that provides information technology and management consulting services to the federal government. He was responsible for multi-site Federal Government Notes/Domino Messaging migrations and deployment as part of the Department of Energy's Yucca Mountain Project. Mr. Sandenaw was heavily involved in the project's compliance with Freedom of Information laws and focused on document retention and categorization in compliance with project guidelines.
Mr. Sandenaw holds multiple certifications, including Certified AIX admin, Principal Certified Lotus Notes Professional, and Certified HelpDesk Manager.
