At BoardDocs, we are committed to our user community and great user experiences with our products. With that in mind, we will be making a couple of enhancements requested by the user community.

What are the updates?

• Document Publishers now have the ability to release meetings as soon as they are made Active.
• Workflow has been enhanced with more routing options.

How do I use them?

A new Option (Options > Agenda) has been added so meetings may be released to the public immediately upon being made active. (All BoardDocs Subscribers)



Workflow Updates (BoardDocs Pro Subscribers Only):

and a dialog box appears pre-filled with information already recorded. Make any additional selections and press OK to submit the item for approval.


Re-routing of Items in Workflow

A Route button is added to Items in Workflow. An Approver may now re-route an item back to any prior approver in the approval tree. Pressing displays a dialog box allowing the document to be pushed back to a previous approver.


Additionally. there is a new option to add comments that will be included in the notification email.
NOTE: These comments are not kept in BoardDocs.

When will I get this update?
The updates will be released tonight to all BoardDocs subscribers. Standard BoardDocs subscribers will get the update when regularly scheduled replication occurs.

Is there anything that I need to do?
As always, please periodically check your options to assure they are configured for your organization's specific needs. Please inform your users of these new features.
