Lisa Ryan, MBA, is Chief Appreciation Strategist at Grategy. Utilizing more than twenty years of sales, marketing and training experience, Lisa works with organizations, corporations and non-profits to help them keep their top talent and best customers from becoming someone else’s. She achieves this through engaging and interactive keynotes, seminars and workshops where attendees learn how to build stronger, more profitable, lasting relationships by creating a culture of appreciation.
Her sales career has spanned a variety of industries including executive recruiting/staffing, industrial and healthcare. By focusing on her proven gratitude technology, called “Grategy,” her clients learn to increase employee and customer engagement, retention and recognition which ultimately leads to higher profits and greater productivity.
She is the author of six books including, The Upside of Down Times: Discovering the Power of Gratitude, which was recently highlight in NY Times best-selling author Harvey Mackay’s syndicated column (“Swim with the Sharks Without Getting Eaten Alive). She co-stars in the award-winning film, “The Keeper of the Keys” with Jack Canfield of Chicken Soup for the Soul, as well as in “The Gratitude Experiment” with several experts from the smash book and movie “The Secret.”
Lisa serves on the board of the Ohio Chapter of the National Speakers Association and is an active member of her Toastmasters International Club. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree and an MBA in marketing from Cleveland State University.
She has been married to Scott since 1996 and they are the proud parents of four very spoiled cats.
